CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #469

Good morning all,

I made this card last week but didn’t have chance to write my blog post until now.

I had a very productive time using up items I had already created but were in the ‘pending’ pile as far as making a card was concerned! 

The background is foiled in silver using a regular die and it has given a lovely outlined detail. To this I have added a strip of silver glitter card and on top of that an image that I had already printed, coloured and die cut. Finally I added the sentiment strips which I had also stamped and die cut. So overall it was a nice quick card to make. 

I used the sketch from CAS colours & sketches challenge #469 for my layout and have flipped it on the short edge to move the shape part lower and the sentiment higher. 


As this is a Christmas card I’m also entering it into the following:

anything goes as long as it's Christmas
optional theme: candy canes

    Great job of using elements you had previously made. Love the silver foil and glitter paper. It makes the background feel "frosty", so the warm beverage is just perfect. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers ~ CAS Challenge.
