Color My Heart Color Dare #644

Afternoon all,

As I was pondering what card to make today, whilst I sit here full of head cold, I came across the new colour board from Color My Heart Color Dare for their challenge #644

And I was only just thinking the other day how I'd like to make a layered floral with blue and orange so this was perfect timing!

I used layering dies from Altenew and a sentiment from Uniko along with some blue gems to finish the card.

That's all from me, I'm off to have a lie down and try to shake off the remnants of this cold.

I am also entering this into Double Trouble Challenge #187, having used 3 flowers, 2 colours and 1 sentiment.

Much love

Papercraft Challenges #116 - Spring Blooms

Good morning all,

Today we have a new challenge from Papercraft Challenges and the theme is 'Spring Blooms'.

I also have to tell you that this will be my last post as a Design Team member for Papercraft Challenges. After two years on the team I have decided it's time to have a change but I wish the Papercraft Challenges team all the best and hopefully I'll be over there joining in some future challenges!

I have lots of Spring Blooms in my stash so it was pretty hard to choose but I haven't used this stamp from Pretty Pink Posh for a while and I love the simplicity of it.

This month we are sponsored by Little Crafts and there will be a surprise gift for the randomly chose winner.

Now it's your turn to join in the fun over at the Papercraft Challenges blog.

Much love

AAA Colourful Colourboard #14

Welcome!

We have a great colourboard for you today over at AAA Colourful challenge. My personal favourite colour is green so this was super fun for me!

I've had a lot of my stamp sets in storage for the past year so it was great to be able to get them back out and see what I had to play with. The Lawn Fawn Hap-Pea stamp set was perfect for this colourboard.

I stamped all the elements before colouring them with alcohol markers and then fussy cutting. I kept the card CAS with a plain background.

Please do jump over to the AAA Colourful blog to check out the Design Team inspiration and join in the fun.

I’ll be entering this card into the following challenges:

AAA Birthday game #71 where the theme is ‘masculine’.

AAA Cards game #285 where the theme is ‘Anything CAS goes’.

Double D March Challenge where the theme is ‘Going Green!’.

And a challenge that is new to me, Simply Clean & Simple where the theme is ‘Shades of Green’.

Much love

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Uniko Style

Good morning,

Welcome to my Uniko Brand Ambassador inspiration post this month where I have chosen to use the fabulous Uniko Style stamp set. I chose this one because of Bev's super card on the latest release which reminded me of my love for this stamp!

I thought it would be nice to pair the stamp set with a variety of Uniko stencils and each one has turned out surprisingly different.

For this card I have stamped the Uniko Style florals with chalk ink and paired them with Uniko Mid Century Modern Shapes Circles & Stars stencil. I inked the stencil onto green card using a slightly darker green ink and an orange/brown ink.

This time I used dye inks and teamed with the Uniko MOD Background Builder Circles stencil. I kept the design fresh by stencilling onto white card.

Finally I used pink card and stencil paste through the Uniko Quilted stencil for the background of this card. The florals are slightly different too as I have heat embossed the outline and centres onto pink card.

Hopefully these examples will have you dusting off the Uniko Style stamp set and digging out some stencils to have fun getting inky with. I always end up covered in ink when I stencil!

As the first card is a masculine card I will be entering it into the AAA Birthday challenge Game #71.

I would like to enter my third card into the Addicted to CAS challenge #278 and Stencil Fun's March challenge.

Much love

Uniko Brand Ambassador Non Release Blog Hop - Revisit Sunshine & Rainbows

Good morning,

As it is a non release month at Uniko we are doing a revisit of Uniko Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set with a Brand Ambassador blog hop too.

A fantastically fun stamp set which teams with so many other Uniko products as I have shown here.

I masked off across the diagonal on a blank piece of white card and stencilled one half with Uniko Raindrops stencil (currently unavailable) and the other half with Uniko Cloud 9 stencil. At this point I inked up the rainbow arches from Uniko Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set as well as the sentiment. I then fussy cut these before slicing the rainbow diagonally and adhering to the card as above.

I was having such fun with these products that I made a second card.

Again using the Uniko Raindrops stencil but this time I used rainbow inks. In addition to stamping the rainbow I used the large and small cloud stamps and again the sentiment from the Uniko Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set. I created a sun using the Uniko Kindness Blooms stamp set.

Don't forget to visit the Uniko blog and hop along the Brand Ambassadors blogs leaving some love as you go. Someone selected at random will win a £25 eGift Certificate for the Uniko store.

Steph - you are here!

In addition today we have a new challenge over on Uniko VIP Facebook page so do pop over and have a look.

There is a monthly prize of an Uniko £10 eGift Certificate for the randomly selected winner. The theme is to use the Uniko Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set or alternatively make a rainbow coloured card using Uniko products as I have done here using Uniko Kindness Blooms stamp set.

I am entering my second card into Stencil Fun Challenges March challenge.

I will be entering my final card into AAA Cards Game 285 and Inkspirational Challenge #336.

The Male Room Challenge #196 - Mixed Media

Good morning,

This month at The Male Room we have a mixed media challenge for you.

For mixed media I usually resort to heat embossing and ink smooshing but I wanted to see what else I had in my stash that could mix it up a bit and I've been doing some wax seals recently so I decided to use one on my card for this challenge.

I have embossed the white panel and in addition to the wax seal I have used blue ribbon, orange cotton and a twine bow. The sentiment is even a sticker to add even more mixed media to the card!

Now it's your turn to join in the fun but before you do, hop over to The Male Room blog and check out the brilliant creations by the rest of the Design Team, and don't forget to add our challenge graphic to your blog post to be eligible for votes.

Much love
