Uniko Ink & Flip Inspiration Week

Happy New Year to you all!

My first blog post of 2026 and we are over a week into the New Year already! Back at work and the festive period is a distant memory…as are the chocolates.

Here at Uniko we are having a week of fabulous inspiration using Bev’s clever Ink & Flip designs. Bev was kind enough to let us choose which Ink & Flip stencil we wanted to use and I chose Uniko Ink & Flip Christmas Tree Pattern stencil because I just love it! Christmas may be over but as I’ve depleted my Christmas card stash I wanted to start on some cards for this year. And I decided to mix up the colours for a bit of fun.

All three cards were made from one panel of inked trees and I just played about with the layouts to make it work.

Make sure you head over to the Uniko blog to check out the wonderful work by Natalie today and also the rest of the Uniko Brand Ambassadors from earlier in the week and over the next couple of days.

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Wednesday Wreaths

Morning all,

For my Uniko Brand Ambassador post this month I thought I would focus on the Uniko Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder stamp set. I'm bringing attention back to this as a Uniko original design as yet again a large US craft brand has helped itself to some of Bev's design elements.

On this card I have stamped the wreath outline twice, rotating a little between stamping, and coloured with alcohol markers. To this I added some stamped and fussy cut berries and bows. Finally I stamped the sentiment and adhered using foam pads.

Here I have offset stamped the wreath using the outline and block stamps. I have added bows and berries stamped onto coloured card and shaded using alcohol markers. The sentiment has been stamped in blue and black ink giving and offset appearance.

For my final card I stamped the wreath using the block stamp only and onto white card. This was fussy cut before holly leaves and berries were added. The berries also have glossy accents added. Finally I used a piece of green card to add the sentiment.

I do love these mid century modern sets, there is so much possibility with them. I'd love to see what you are inspired to make and don't forget to tag Uniko in your projects too.

Much love

Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles Stencil Release, BA Blog and Socials Hop

Welcome!

Today is the release of the new Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles stencil and mask set. This new product teams with the Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set and can also be used on it's own.

For this card I have used the stencil to ink up the three baubles and with the stencil in place I have splattered them with white and gold paints. Once dry, I added the masks over each bauble and splattered the areas around each one with the colour they are inked in. I added the bauble hangers from the matching stamp set and the sentiment from Uniko Festive Sentiments stamp set.

With this card I wanted to create the opposite effect to the first so I adhered the masks to white card stock and inked around them with Distress Oxide inks. I removed the masks and splattered the card with water (to activate the DO's) and gold watercolour paints. I stamped the hangers and bauble 'shine' using the matching stamp set and finally added a sentiment from the Uniko Most Wonderful stamp set.

So as you can see, there is lots of fun to be had with the new stencil and by revisiting the stamp set. The rest of the Brand Ambassadors have been showcasing these product this week too and we now have a BA blog and socials hop for you to check out the inspiration. Leave some love along the way and you could be the lucky randomly chosen winner of a £20 Uniko eGift voucher.

Steph - you are here!

Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles & Introducing MCM Baubles Stencil & Mask

Good morning!

All this week the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are revisiting the wonderful Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set because we have a fabulous new product to add in the form of a matching stencil!

This really is a fun stamp set which really creates impactful cards. Today is the turn of myself and Natalie to showcase the stamp set and the new Mid Century Modern Baubles stencil and mask set.

My first cards this week use only the MCM Baubles stamp set, you will have to wait a couple more days to see what I did with the stencil and masks!

Here I stamped the outline of the baubles and wreath (from Uniko Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder stamp set) onto watercolour card. I used a water brush to pull the ink from the outline to fill the spaces. I fussy cut the three focal pieces before adding berries to the wreath and hangers to the baubles. The sentiment is stamped also from the Uniko MCM Wreath Builder set. Once I had adhered all the items I added bauble strings with a white gel pen and some Christmas sparkle with crystal stickles.

On my next card I stamped and fussy cut the three baubles from the Uniko MCM Baubles set and coloured them with alcohol markers. I added details to the baubles using Nuvo drops, stickles and pearl drops. Once dry I added the bauble hangers, strings and stamped the sentiment in white ink.

I have definitely had great fun revisiting this stamp set and playing with the new stencil and mask set has been fun too...but you'll have to come back on Saturday to see my makes using those!

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Technique Tuesday

Good morning,

I recently saw a great technique on @ardythpr1 Instagram page and decided to recreate it using Uniko products.

First I selected three background or larger stamps and smaller stamp sets with matching details to the larger sets. I then inked three separate panels by directly rubbing the ink from Distress Oxide pads onto white card. The idea is to then ink the background (or larger) stamp onto the card with a muted ink, followed by white heat embossing the stamp from the smaller matching set over the top. Finishing off with a white die cut shape and a white and black die cut sentiment.

Here I have used Uniko Large Background Tropical Paradise stamp for the background, inked up with Memento Espresso Truffle. The smaller stamp which has been white heat embossed is the Uniko Paradise Leaves stamp set. For the inked panel I have used Pine Needles and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks.

Thinking I needed a lighter background panel, I used Shabby Shutters and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks for this panel. I then used the Craftstash exclusive Uniko Picked Posies Fresh Cut Foliage stamp for the background, again using Memento Espresso Truffle ink. The white heat embossed stamp is from the Uniko Season of Beauty stamp set.

My final card is slightly different mainly because I had a 'moment' when inking up the larger Uniko Hello Lovely stamp set and inked it with embossing ink in error. Once I realised my error I decided to go with it and heat emboss in copper. I continued to heat emboss in white using the Uniko Pure Florals: Peony stamp set. The background for this inked panel uses three distress oxides which are Antique Linen, Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet.

I've not had much time in the craft room lately and I'm finding a little frazzled for craft inspiration at present so seeing this video of Ardyth's was a great way to kick start me back into crafting. I hope you like my creations and also encourage you to head over to Ardyth's Instagram page to see the original inspiration.

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Retro Autumn!

Good morning,

Retro Autumn?! What do I mean by that? Well simply that I have combined the Uniko Layering Retro Lines stencil with a few Uniko autumnal sets.

I stencilled three panels with the same green shades using part of the Uniko Layering Retro Lines stencil. To all three I added a sentiment from the Uniko Butterfly Serenade stamp set.

For this first card I used a grey ink and added a floral outline from the Uniko Originally Organic stamp set.

Next I added some colour using the Uniko Autumn Serenade stamp set, both the large stamp and some of the smaller elements in the set also.

Finally I went super simple with just one leaf stem stamped in green from the Uniko Originally Organic Flower Garden stamp set, and added a few dots of colour with Nuvo drops.

The change in weather in the UK is definitely influencing my crafting this year. I can't remember it doing so in previous years other than I do like to switch over to festive crafting in autumn because they are my favourite cards to make! Do the seasons influence your crafting style?

World Card Making Day with Uniko

Good morning and happy World Card Making Day!

Bev has decided to set a competition for World Card Making Day this year and is giving away THREE prize bundles.

All you have to do is MAKE A CARD!

There are some rules however which are as follows:

Simply make a card that uses a Uniko product. You could use a stamp, stencil, designer die or even a digital product. There are some free downloads HERE

Next, share it on social media (Instagram, Facebook or even Pinterest) and be sure to tag @unikoltd so we see it! You can even link up your card to the Uniko blog to the gallery. If you don't do social media or have trouble linking up, email me your entry to bev@uniko.co.uk

You have today and tomorrow (Sunday 5th) to get your entries in.

3 winners will be randomly selected from those entered across all platforms to win a Uniko prize bundle. Winners will be contacted and announced on the Uniko blog on Monday 6th October 2025.

Here is my inspiration to get you started.

I stamped the diamonds using Uniko Background Builders: Delightful Diamonds stamp set onto three different shades of blue and one shade of purple card using versamark ink. I then added white embossing powder and heat set before fussy cutting the diamonds out. I arranged them onto a white piece of card along with a heat embossed sentiment and adhered the panel to a card blank.

Good luck!

The Male Room Challenge #203 - For A Baby Boy

Welcome!

Today at The Male Room we have a challenge theme full of cuteness - 'For A Baby Boy'.

I went with the typical blue colours but of course anything is great for a baby boy. I used my die cutting plate to give a quilted look to the background. I added a die cut frame in a darker blue and stamped the teddy and 'welcome' sentiment from the now retired Uniko Sweet Baby stamp set. Finally I die cut the letters to spell 'baby' and adhered everything in place.

What colour/s will you choose and what image/s will you select? Check out the fantastic creations by the rest of the Design Team over on The Male Room blog, and of course join in the fun with us too.

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Christmas Blossom

Good morning,

As with our revisit of the 2025 Uniko release products earlier this month, I have focussed my Brand Ambassador inspiration on Christmas and a 2025 release product, namely Uniko Layering Spring Blossom stencil.

I have used one inking of the Spring Blossom stencil to create all three cards and added elements to the last card using Uniko Layering Bauhaus Christmas stencil.

Once I had inked the panel in Christmas colours, I placed a stitched die so that half of it contained the florals and half did not. I then stamped the 'Peace, Love &' part of the sentiment onto the blank half. On another piece of card I stamped 'joy' from the Uniko Big & Bold Joy stamp set, fussy cut, adhered to vellum and fussy cut leaving a border.

From the remaining inked panel I die cut a circle and mat it to a larger die cut circle of dark green card. I stamped the sentiment from the Uniko Simply Said Blocks Christmas stamp set and adhered this using foam pads.

This left me with just a small amount of the inked panel remaining so I die cut an oval and used the Uniko Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set to add a bauble hanger. I inked up two circles using elements from the Uniko Bauhaus Christmas Blocks stencil and added bauble hangers. I threaded all three 'baubles' with twine and adhered to a rectangle of card which I then adhered to the card blank using foam pads. Finally I added a sentiment from the Uniko Simply Said Blocks Christmas stamp set.

Hopefully I've given you some inspiration today and shown you how you can create Christmas cards without necessarily using Christmas stencils or stamps.

Uniko September 2025 Non-Release Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Good morning,

As this is a non release month at Uniko we are having a Brand Ambassador product revisit, blog hop and GIVEAWAY.

This month we are revisiting our favourite products from all those release so far in 2025, listed here for reference.

January 2025

February 2025

April 2025

July 2025

August 2025

Wow there's more products there than I expected!

I decided to focus on Uniko Background Blocks Merry Christmas Scramble. For all my cards I stamped the Merry Christmas Scramble and masked it before stamping a series of background / frame stamps. For my first card I used another of the new release stamps, Uniko Background Blocks Swiss Dots

To finish my card I simply coloured the large letters in two shades of green.

I then wanted to see how the stamp would look with the Uniko Framed - Fairy Lights stamped around the large lettering.

For this card I fussy cut some extra letters and adhered them using foam pads.

And finally, I used the same method of masking and stamped the Uniko Framed - Holly over the top.

To make this image stand out more I also coloured outside the frame.

I hope you like this revisit and encourage you to follow the Brand Ambassador blog hop. If you leave lovely comments along the way you could win a £25 eGift code for the Uniko store.

Steph - that's me!

Just a reminder that Bev is currently on holiday so any orders placed will be a little delayed in being sent.

And finally, today we also have a new challenge over on the Uniko VIP facebook page. If you enter a card, you could win a £10 eGift code to spend in the Uniko store.

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Mid Century Modern Monday

Good morning all,

If you were present for our release at the beginning of August, you will be familiar with the Uniko Background Builders Mid Century Modern stamp set. I had a really great time playing with this set so I wanted to use it some more for my Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration post this month. I love background builder sets as there are so many different combinations, layouts, colours etc...to play with.

For my first card I simply stamped the line stamps three times down the card and infilled with the stamps as shown. To this I added a sentiment strip stamped using a sentiment from the Uniko Bauhaus Blocks stamp set.

On my next card I wanted to use the stepped line so I stamped this four times and selected the various semi circles to stamp over the top. I have used chalk ink on all these cards (I'm a bit obsessed with it at them moment!) which gives a nice translucent effect. The sentiment is a mix of stamps from Uniko Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder and Uniko Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments stamp sets.

My final card is inspired by a search of Mid Century Modern Pattern and I absolutely love how it turned out! I have used a couple of other stamp sets to create the background. these being Uniko Mid Century Modern Florals and Uniko Mid Century Modern Birthday stamp sets.

Well I hope you have enjoyed this Mid Century Modern showcase as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Now it's over to you to show us what you create with your new stamp set. Don't forget to show us over on the Uniko VIP Facebook page.

Uniko August 2025 Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Welcome!

Yay! We made it to release day here at Uniko and now we can treat you to the full product pictures, along with some more fabulous inspiration using the new products.

Background Builders Mid Century Modern

Background Blocks Bauhaus

Background Blocks MOD Circle Builder

Background Blocks Swiss Dots

Layering Retro Stripes Stencil

Ink & Flip Mid Century Leaves Stencil

Now for one more card created using a couple of my favourites from the above release.

I think I have to declare the Background Builders Mid Century Modern as my favourite because there are an infinite amount of design combinations to be had. I do rather like the other Uniko background builders sets so if you do to then this is the set for you. I stamped the semi circles and yellow and green shapes before adding the two 'tramlines'. I then thought, 'I wonder what this would look like with Swiss dots over the top'...luckily the Background Blocks Swiss Dots stamp fit neatly inside the two lines I had stamped...it was meant to be!

Lots more fun to be had with these stamps and stencils and I will definitely be keeping these on my desk for a while longer and having a play!

But of course, the rest of the Uniko Brand Ambassadors have had a great time with these sets too and you can see this over on the Uniko blog. Join in with the blog hop and you could be in with a chance of winning a £25 eGift code for the Uniko store.

Uniko August 2025 Release - Introducing Layering Retro Stripes and Ink & Flip Mid Century Leaves Stencils

Morning all,

Today we have two new stencils to introduce and we are starting with Uniko Layering Retro Stripes.

For some reason this stencil reminded me of a doll I used to own called Rainbow Bright. She definitely had a blue dress and I wonder if she had a rainbow similar to this design which is what triggered the memory. So, I used rainbow colours onto blue card but I had to ink all the layers in white ink first to help the colours show.

For my next card I've moved the stencil around a bit to create a different pattern and added a stamped and die cut sentiment from the Uniko Big & Bold Wish stamp set with matching dies.

Next up we are introducing Ink & Flip Mid Century Leaves stencil.

Here I have randomly inked the leaves and left spaces for flowers which I inked using another stencil.

For this card I used the stencil the other way and placed my flowers with the pointy part of the leaf facing upwards. I teamed the stencil with Uniko Mid Century Modern Florals stamp set for the flower heads and the leaf centres.

Two really great stencils which we will all have a great time playing around with. And you can see lots more super inspiration over on the Uniko blog

Steph - you are here

Don't forget we have the full reveal, release, blog hop and GIVEAWAY tomorrow. See you then!

Much love
