Uniko January 2025 Release - Reintroducing... Background Builders Flower Power

Good morning,

Today we are introducing the final product on the Uniko January 2025 release and this is in fact a reintroduction of a previously released stamp set. I was not actually aware of this stamp set previously so I was able to look at it with fresh eyes and I have to say it's a really fun set, Uniko Background Builders Flower Power.

I really like this repeat pattern in the black and white and thought it would look great with a sentiment die cut out of the background but reinserted with the inner part coloured in. I have of course used the Uniko Big & Bold Wish stamp set with coordinating die set which can also be bought as a bundle

This lovely card was great fun to make with the different coloured layers of heat embossing. I have even used the new Uniko Simply Said Blocks Occasions for the sentiment here too.

Lots more gorgeous uses of this stamp set over on the Uniko Brand Ambassadors blogs, go check them out!

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the full reveal, release and of course a GIVEAWAY!

Uniko Feb / Mar Release Introducing Falling Hearts Serenade & Everyday Love Sentiments

Good Morning!

Thanks for joining us on the Uniko Feb / Mar introductions. Here we have Falling Hearts Serenade and Everyday Love Sentiment stamp sets which work together beautifully.

The Falling Hearts Serenade is a large swirling stamp but here I have used a part of it that looked like half a heart to me! Stamped and die cut into a heart it works perfectly.

My second card uses the whole stamp and it is repeat stamped several times. The roses made me think of Beauty and the Beast so I went with a yellow theme. This time I teamed it with the Everyday Love Sentiments.

Pop over to the Uniko blog and check out the fabulous makes by the other Brand Ambassadors. Absolutely don't forget to come back tomorrow for the full release, Brand Ambassador blog hop and GIVEAWAY!

Much love

Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Always and Forever

Hey Everyone,

How are you feeling now that Christmas Day has been and gone? Did Santa bring you what you wanted or are you going to get it yourself in the sale?! 😂

I love Christmas but I definitely get to a point where I’m ready to move on from it so today I’m taking a break from Christmas cards and looking ahead, perhaps to Valentine’s, with these cards.

All three cards use the Uniko Always and Forever stamp set and the same set of rainbow coloured inks or coordinating card stock. In addition the first card uses the straight line stamp from the Uniko Pattern Building Christmas Tree stamp set (darn it, I didn’t quite manage to move away from the Christmas stamps after all!).

For the first card I used some light pencil lines and a stamping platform to keep everything straight whilst stamping the background in rainbow colours. I added a fussy cut heart which was heat embossed in white onto black card.

The second card also has the coloured diagonals but this time I used card to create the background before stamping and heat embossing the heart and sentiment in white on black card.

For my final card I stamped the hearts in the rainbow inks before fussy cutting and adhering to black card with foam pads. For added interest I have filled in the gaps with drops of glossy accents.

I hope you get a little time to craft over the festive period and I wish you all a great New Year whatever your plans may be.

Much love

The Male Room Challenge #149

Hi everyone

Thanks for joining me today and checking out the new challenge over at The Male Room. Challenge #149 is wood.

I do think a masculine card and a wood theme go hand in hand and I was a little spoilt for choice when I was trying to decide what to make. Initially I was looking towards a wood effect background stamp then I remembered I had a wood grain embossing folder too. I also have a fair few woodland themed stamps and papers so it took me a while to choose a direction! But here it is:

As you can see, the wood grain embossing folder won out! I inked the folder before running a light grey card through it so it gave the slightly darker grey grain. Think silver birch!

I’m constantly thinking ahead to what cards I need to make so I decided to make this into an anniversary card for my husband but as you can see our anniversary isn’t until July. However, July is a particularly busy month for birthdays, anniversaries and carnivals (I’m treasurer for our local carnival event) so I definitely have to get myself well ahead of the game.

I die cut the heart into the embossed card (I then ran it through the folder again as it had lost some depth) and I stamped the initials, heart arrow and month onto a piece of grey card behind the heart aperture. I layered this onto red card to give a pop of colour and did the same with my sentiment strip which was stamped and die cut using Clearly Besotted products.

So, how will you interpret the wood theme? Pop over the the blog to see how the rest of the Design Team took on the challenge and leave them some love.

*** Important Note *** Please remember to add the challenge graphic and link back to the challenge on your blog post. We are unable to consider your project for a win or honourable mention if you don’t do this.

Much love
