Color My Heart Color Dare #498

Hi all, 

Thanks for joining me today where I have a new Color My Heart Color Dare challenge to share with you. Challenge #498 is a great challenge that really leaves things open to your imagination. 



I usually plan my cards out in my head before I make them, I find this quite therapeutic at bedtime, however recently I’ve been too busy and have been rolling into bed already half asleep. So this card was one of those just made up as I went along. 

I started off by stamping the silhouette from Uniko Just Because stamp set in the challenge colours. I wanted a frame around it and decided on circular and then decided to make it into a shaker. I took a 6” square card blank and folded the top panel back on itself to create an easel card. To this I added layers of black card and green patterned paper. Then I added the sentiment strip raised up on foam pads to create a ‘stopper’. Finally I adhered the shaker to the easel part of the card.

As my card contains a fun fold I will be entering it into Creative Creases Challenge #33.

    Love your easel card and the bold colors in your circle... fun and pretty card. You may want to enter your card in a Fun Fold challenge "anything goes" that's held continuously.
