We are finally here at the Uniko 12th Birthday release day! No hanging about, straight into the full product reveal we go:

Uniko Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Heart Stencil Set

The main feature of the card is of course the gorgeous red and pink heart created using the inner stencil only. The background has been created using the Uniko Large Background: Scattered Polka Hearts stamp set. And I have only just discovered glitter embossing powder...oh my heart, like the sentiment, I LOVE the stuff!! The sentiment is from Uniko Big & Bold Love stamp set.  

Uniko Mid Century Modern Birthday

Although we are celebrating Uniko's 12th Birthday, I have used the Mid Century Modern Birthday stamp set to show how it could be used for Christmas cards too. The presents and bows were stamped in festive colours and the outline versions of the stamp were heat embossed in gold. The sentiment is from the Uniko Mid Century Modern Wreath Builder stamp set.

I have mixed these two stamp sets to create my last card. The Background Blocks MOD Builder makes for a lovely background which can be coloured in any way.

Uniko 12th Birthday Release Introducing - Background Blocks MOD Builder

Good morning everyone, 

We are swiftly working our way through the Uniko 12th Birthday Release Introductions this week and the final one here today is Background blocks MOD Builder. This stamp compliments the Uniko MOD Background Builder stencil. 

I have used both the new stamp and the already released stencil on this card and kept the colour scheme simple so the stamp could shine. The sentiment is from the Uniko Sentiments Outlined stamp set.

My next card uses the large background stamp from the new set to create a background pattern. I have then used some of the smaller elements of the set to add further pattern to the centre. Another sentiment features from yesterdays Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments stamp set.

Uniko 12th Birthday Release Introducing - Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments

Welcome all, 

We continue the Uniko 12th Birthday release with the Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments stamp set. 

The sentiments in this set are of the same font as the Mid Century Modern Birthday set but are slightly smaller. I have black heat embossed my sentiment and teamed it with Uniko Background Blocks Mid Century Modern in white heat embossing and added Nuvo drop accents. 

I have kept my next card very simple and Used the paw print from Uniko Paw Prints Heart stamp set and teaming it with a one word sentiment from the new Mid Century Modern Everyday Sentiments stamp set. 

Lots more beautiful uses of this new stamp set have been created by the Brand Ambassadors over on the Uniko blog.

Papercraft Challenges #103 - Carnival / Dress Up

Good morning! 

Today we go live with a new theme at Papercraft Challenges and for our challenge #103 we want to see Carnival / Dress Up on your projects.

This month’s challenge is sponsored by Dr Digi’s and here I have used their ‘Charge’ image from the kids section. The reason I chose this image was because in the past, part of our local carnival celebrations included a wheelbarrow race! We are lucky to still have a fabulous annual carnival and we still have a wheelbarrow display team as part of our carnival parade. 

So what do you think of when you hear the word carnival? Certainly there is also plenty of dressing up at our carnival too. Uniko 12th Birthday Release Introducing - Mid Century Modern Birthday

Hi everyone, 

Welcome to day two of the Uniko 12th Birthday release introductions. Today we have an addition to the Mid Century Modern line up with the Birthday theme very much in mind.

The set features the lovely large sentiments as shown on my first card. The birthday parcels can be 'built' from the range of stamps within the set. Here I have fussy cut and layered up the presents. 

For my next card I have teamed the new Mid Century Modern Birthday stamp set with Uniko Balloon Bash stamp set.

Uniko 12th Birthday Release Introducing - Ink & Flip Geometric Heart Layering Stencil

Morning All, 

Today we are introducing Uniko Ink & Flip Geometric Heart Layering stencil. This is once again a very clever design by Bev, one where the stencil is inked, cleaned, flipped and inked again. 

The set consists of two stencils, the inner and the outer. Here I have inked the outer stencil in two shades of pink distress oxide (Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet) onto white watercolour. I have then used Kraft card and versamark ink with gold embossing powder through the inner stencil, flipped the stencil and used white texture paste for the rest of the inner heart. Once dry I fussy cut the inner heart and adhered over the pink background heart. I have gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Uniko Everyday Love Sentiments stamp set and adhered to a Kraft card base.

My next card uses only the inner heart. 

I have stencilled two shades of blue ink using the inner heart stencil and fussy cut before layering onto gold glitter card. Again I fussy cut leaving a narrow border. The sentiment is from the Uniko Falling Hearts Serenade stamp set and is heat embossed in gold.

Uniko 12th Birthday Card Linky Party Brand Ambassador Blog Hop

Morning everyone, 

Today we have the Uniko 12th Birthday Linky Party where you can add your beautiful birthday creation with the chance of winning a £25 eGift voucher.

I have used the Uniko Layering Bauhaus Blocks stencils to create this card. I have inked each layer in turn with Versamark ink and sprinkled with embossing powder in Gold, Copper and Black. I have then ink blended a light grey over the top and die cut using a stitched edge die. The sentiment is from Uniko Floral Vines stamp set and has been added as a strip across the stencilled design. Finally I have adhered the panel to a black card base.

Uniko Birthday Inspiration - 12th Birthday Celebrations

Morning all, 

Welcome to my Uniko Birthday Inspiration post. Each one of the Brand Ambassadors is sharing birthday inspiration as we celebrate Uniko's 12th Birthday!! 

As well as the Brand Ambassadors Inspiration there is an Uniko release, preceded by the sneak peeks, of course, and culminating in the blog hop and GIVEAWAY!! The sneak peeks start on the 12th Feb. 

And that's not all, on the 11th Feb we will be hosting a Birthday Linky Party so be sure to make a birthday card and join in. 

Now for my birthday inspiration makes. I decided to dig out some of the older Uniko stamp sets here and also realised that some of these are ones I haven’t used before. It’s always lovely to ink up a new stamp, even if it’s been sat in your stash for a while 🤦🏻‍♀️!!

For my first card I inked up the Uniko Large Background Tropical Paradise stamp using green ink. I coloured the leaves using various shades of green alcohol markers and coloured the open spaces with a pale yellow. On another piece of card I stamped the toucan and flower from Uniko Paradise stamp set and coloured with some bright oranges and yellows before fussy cutting and adhering to the background. I stamped the sentiment from Uniko Floral Vines stamp set onto a strip of card coloured the same as the background and adhered everything onto a Kraft card base. 

Sticking with the same stamp sets I created my next card with a watercolour style.

Again I inked up the background using green inks but before I stamped, I sprayed the inked stamp with water and stamped onto watercolour card. I did the same with the flowers and additional leaves from the Uniko Paradise set and fussy cut before adhering with foam pads. The sentiment this time is from the Uniko Anniversaire Arts Decoratifs stamp set.
