Good morning,
Welcome back as we run through the Uniko 13th birthday release introductions. Today we have an all new layering stencil called Uniko Bright Butterflies and a re-introduced stamp set by the same name.
I wanted my 'butterflies' to look more like moths for this card so I used more muted Distress Oxide ink colours and a dark blue card base.
For this card I teamed the butterflies with the recently released Uniko Layering Picked Posies stencils.
Now we move onto a re-introduction of Uniko Bright Butterflies stamp set.
This set has three different butterflies so I black heat embossed each one onto a different coloured strip of card before adhering to the card front. The sentiment has been white heat embossed and is also from the set. Lastly I added the black strips with foam pads to cover the joins in the coloured card.
For this card I smooshed some distress oxide inks onto watercolour card and added some metallic watercolour splashes before die cutting the frames. I adhered these to the black card blank. I then heat embossed the butterflies onto vellum using clear sparkle embossing powder and fussy cut before adhering to the three smooshed panels.
Now it's time to head over to the Uniko blog to check out the amazing creations by the rest of the Uniko Brand Ambassadors.
Much love
